Thomas John Kwapich passed away Sunday August 30, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family at the age of 67. He was born January 23, 1953 in Toledo to Joseph and Anastasia (Osinski) Kwapich.
He served in the U.S. Army and was an aircraft mechanic. Tom was a self employed mechanic and enjoyed working on his muscle cars. He also owned and operated the Ball 4 Sports Shop. He loved the outdoors, camping and going fishing. Some of his favorite places were Harrison Lake, Mohican State Park and the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Tom worked with kids coaching softball and sharing his camping skills as a Scout Leader.
He enjoyed playing pool and poker. He was an avid Cleveland Browns Fan. Tom’s greatest joy was spending time with his family whom he adored.
Tom is survived by his wife Linda; children Rick (Darla), Melissa and Tommy; grandchildren Ricky, Dylan, Zaidyn, Keyliee, Laylah, Tommy, Kelsiee, Tylor and Cheyenne as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
His Family will receive friends for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 40 in building at a time, guest please limit your time so that others may have a chance to pay their respects and social distancing will be observed inside facilities) at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Saturday after 1 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4 PM. Memorial tributes may be made to his family to offset expenses via the website and are greatly appreciated.
