Lennie Ray Bruce

Lennie Ray Bruce passed away Monday June 15th in his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 60. He was born September 21, 1959 in Toledo to Bennie & Shirley Bruce.

Lennie spent 34 yrs in Environmental Industrial Cleaning services with Hiets, Onyx, Violia, and Clean Harbors. He was known for being a hard worker with an incredible work ethic.

Lennie  loved  music and would go to concerts and shared his enjoyment of rock & roll with his family by having them listen to the Beatles, Pink Floyd, AC /DC and RUSH (2112) a few of his favorites. He also would work in his garage tinkering on different projects and would be out gardening whenever he had the time.

Lennie was a loving devoted husband to his wife Joyce, whom he married on September 28, 1988. The highlight of his life was being a grandpa; his grandkids were his pride and joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; twin brother Denny Bruce; brother Michael and sisters Shirley Johnson and Tina Goulet. Lennie is survived by his loving wife Joyce; children Megan, Donna, Mike, Micky, Butchie (Tina) and Angel (Shane); sisters Theresa Bryant, April (Brian) Baker; brothers Eddie Bruce and Rodney (Debbie) Bruce; 15 grandkids; 10 great grandkids as well as many nieces and nephews.

His Family will receive friends for limited visitation (masks must be worn, 40 in building at a time, guest please limit your time so that others may have a chance to pay their respects and social distancing will be observed inside facilities) at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Friday from 2 – 4 PM with a Celebration of Life Service at 3 PM.
