Daniel Russell Dotson, II passed away November 24, 2017 unexpectedly in his home at the age of 32. He was born June 10, 1985 in Colorado Springs, CO to Theresa (Challen) Dotson. Danny was an accomplished sales executive working for a variety of different industries.

Danny was a hardworking husband and father, who loved and cared for his family whom he adored. He loved spending time with family, especially spending hours playing Minecraft and other intellectual games with his wife and children.

He was passionate about weight lifting, a fan of UFC, University of Michigan and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Danny enjoyed music and dancing. He was a great friend to everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father Daniel Russell Dotson and is survived by his loving wife Michelle; children Lucas and Haley; mother Terrie Dotson; grandmother Sally Alt; grandfather Gary Challen; great aunt Gloria (Jim) Buchman; Uncle Nick Challen; Aunt Julie Swords; cousins Nicole Challen, Sarah (Challen) Dalziel and Kate Swords; best friends Amber Orwig and Chad Weil.

Family will be receiving friends at the Castillo Funeral Home 1757 Tremainsville Rd. Sunday after 2 PM followed by a Celebration of Danny’s Life at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made on the website or at the funeral home to the family for the care of his children.
